Get out on the water in this 2006 Progressive Aerodyne SeaRey Experimental Amphibian. Only 113 hours TTSN on a Rotax 4-cylinder, gas or 100LL, 100 HP engine and Ivoprop Corp. 3-bladed Carbon Graphite Fiber Composite Ground Adjustable Pitch Propeller. Avionics are great for VFR flying and include a Bendix King KY-97A VHF COM Transceiver, Garmin GTX-320A Mode C Transponder, FlightCom 403MC Panel Mounted 2-Place Intercom, Garmin GPSMAP496 VFR Color Moving Map GPS, Airpath C2300 lighted, liquid filled, magnetic compass, Hobbs 8300 Analog Hourmeter Indicator, Ameri-King AK-450 121.5 MHZ Emergency Locator Transmitter with Panel-Mounted ELT Remote Switch, and a 12-Volt DC Charging Socket on the Panel. No ADS-B is installed. Airframe has the much improved Fiberglass C Hull/Fuselage, and Lexon Windshield and Track Sliding Side Windows, Whellen Wing Strobe Lights and Controller, Micro Vortex Generators on Wings, Toe and Hand Brake on the Pilot’s Side Only with a Differential Braking System, Hydraulic Retractable Main Landing Gear, and a Maule Tailwheel Upgrade Kit. The aircraft has been always hanagred and has NEVER been used in salt water. All tubes have been treated with linseed oil. It has full logs and will be sold with a fresh condition inspection. This aircraft is being sold by the second owner who is a friend of the builder. This SeaRey is an Experimental Amateur-Built Aircraft, and is not in the Light Sport category. To fly this SeaRey, pilots must have a Private Pilot's License with a Tail Wheel Endorsement. To operate on water, pilots must be also be Single Engine Seaplane rated. The Searey Flight Instructor’s Association (SFIA) maintains a cadre of qualified CFI/Instructor Pilots based around the US to provide training.
