1973 PIPER PA-32-260

PA-32 260hp Partnership (South Florida) @ F45

I own 1973 PA-32-260. Great aircraft with a great maintenance pedigree and no damage history.
Just complete Annual inspection November 2022.
Wing spar inspection was also complete (not required but I did it anyway for peace of mind).

I fly full-time for a living and with family obligations; I'm just not using the aircraft enough to justify ownership. This will change....as life/family obligations ebb and flow.

TT 6199 (wing spar inspection complete)
SMOH 1768
STOH 283
Fully IFR capable with Garmin 430W, Garmin G5's, ADS-B In/Out, Engine Analyzer, and Piper Autopilot. I have a Tru Trak autopilot but it has not been installed.

I would like to take on 1 or 2 partners. Once the aircraft's current market value is mutually determined (I'm thinking 135-140k), partner(s) can buy in based on percentage.
If one partner-70K buy-in for 50% equity in the aircraft
If two partners -46k buy-in for 33% equity in the aircraft.
LLC will be formed naming the partners as members.
The aircraft will be mutually owned and managed.

Current monthly fixed costs are:
--Shadeport at F45 $300
--Insurance $135/month (this may change depending on the incoming partner(s) TT and time in type)
--Garmin Database Subscription approx $25/month (approx $300 annually)
***Typical annual based on the last three years has been between $2,000-$3,000***
***Currently, I manage maintenance as it comes. Typically partnerships work a bit differently....ie building a reserve for both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. This can be done by charging an "hourly" fee and/or a combination of a monthly fee (in addition to the fixed costs)
We can use AOPA or another existing partnership agreement as a basis. No need to reinvent the wheel. We could mold the agreement to meet the group's ideology (hourly fees/reserves/etc).

The engine is "higher time" but a strong runner with a 2006 Lycoming factory overhaul. My plan is to run the engine to TBO at a minimum (unless it "speaks" to me and/or my mechanic otherwise). Honestly, I think this motor is capable of 2250hrs.

I'm not soliciting partnership to subsidize the overhaul. I realize an overhaul is on the horizon but a few years down the road. I will put my money where my mouth is.....If I bring on partners, I will fund half of the overhaul cost up front (escrow), just to show good faith. That is my best logic? I’m also open to suggestions? I just want to be fair.
