This western kept Cessna 337A was based and operated out of Montana until 2013 when it was purchased and operated in the high dessert of the mid Oregon mountains until 2014 when it was taken out of service for an extensive refresh. The seller's father, who had owned the plane, began plans to upgrade several components, including the installation of a new exhaust system. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, he was never able to complete the work.

Included with the sale is the original interior (which has been removed from the plane), a new exhaust system still in its original packaging, and other spare parts including additional cowlings, panels, and even an observer door. These parts were all purchased with the intent to update the aircraft as part of his refresh vision.
